According to news sources:

Q Airways intends to start flight operations initially with three Airbus A320 aircraft on domestic route flights to & from Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.

Airline owners are Ramada Hotels owners/shareholders/partners in Pakistan.

The owner's surname is Qureshi. Q is probably because of that.

On March 3, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued Regular Public Transport (RPT) airline license to new Pakistani airline Q Airways for a period of two years up to January 31, 2024 to conduct RPT operations in Pakistan.

Q Airways would be required to obtain an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) within a period two years commencing from the date of government's approval i.e. From February 1, 2022, to January 31, 2024, in order to commence RPT operations.
