Total Number of Employees at PIA?

Does any one here know the total number of employees PIA has? That includes all ground staff and flight crews. Thank you

They have too many for such a small airline, I think it's 22,000+, but I am not sure anyone have the exact figure?

If PIA has 22,000 employess for 48 aircrafts that it has in it's fleet, that makes it 458.33 persons per aircraft. On the contrary, KLM has 154 aircrafts and is run by 34,848 employees Worldwide, that is 226.28 persons per aircraft. What a contrast! May be that is why PIA is not profitable because of all the fat cats and may be there is a ghost payrolling going on. Is there an accountability for all this?

Actually, they don't really use the 2 twin otters (only for charter I believe), and I think two fokkers are off the list, as well as the A300s and 2 747-200s. So that makes about 10 aircraft less. meaning they have more than 458.33 persons an aircraft. That is one reason they loose money.

true...i mean..we have just 500 pilots...and god knows how many other aircraft personnel.....if they need to make a profit..they need to lose all these extra employees
