Now, the aircraft is performing Islamabad to Manchester flight R54491/PK9701.

Since the commencement of Islamabad & Lahore to Istanbul flights and partnership with Turkish Airlines, it appears that as of 19.11 these charter flights have stopped operating.

This may be last flight I wanted to purchase ticket on this service to travel in December and travel agent told me last flight showing on their system for 25th November. I think someone also posted a new tender on this forum from December but according to travel agent new service will be with Turkish / PIA joint venture.

I think you're travel agent doesn't know what he's talking about to be honest. The tender for the UK direct flights has finished but they haven't submitted the report saying who has won it yet. So once they release that, there should be direct flights. Tender closed on 21st, so question is how long does it take to make the decision considering they mentioned flights in December in the tender.

We also learnt that PIA has given their landing slots at Heathrow to Turkish & Kuwait for number of months. Does that not also indicate that there won’t be a direct service at least for Heathrow?
