Airbus A320 registration OE-IOT arrived in Cairo (Egypt) as delivery flight from Perpignan (France). Flight completed in 3 hours & 49 minutes.

Later, the aircraft left Cairo for delivery flight to Pakistan. The aircraft stayed in Cairo for one hour. It arrived in Ciro t 2:11 PM and left Cairo at 3:09 PM.

Are the planes being flown to ISB, having a new reg applied and then being ferried to KHI? That doesn’t seem efficient at all. Why not just accept delivery in KHI

Karachi, 23 October 2021: PIA received delivery of the second Airbus A320 aircraft acquired on dry lease.



The A320 aircraft reached Islamabad airport from France. CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik congratulated the airline officials on the induction of the aircraft. He said that new version of fuel efficient aircraft will further improve PIA service.

He instructed the concerned departments to complete all necessary formalities as soon as possible to bring this aircraft in flight operation.

CEO PIA thanked Aviation and Finance Ministries for their support.

With the induction of this aircraft PIA now has eleven A320 aircraft in its fleet. The airline plans to induct more aircraft in the coming year.

For CAA registration and bcuz PIAs head office is now in Islamabad therefore it lands there

PIA should have atleast given these planes a hybrid livery with the tail being white with with blue PIA on it, plus a blue PAKISTAN on the fusalage instead of interjet.
