These days YouTube is full of videos from students pilots flights this practice should be stopped as it can become a cause of accident or incident
Videos or pictures might be during the circuit, no pilot or even a human is stupid enough to take selfies during landing , lets wait for the investigation , we all know how flying clubs maintain planes here.
Pilot's blood/urine/breath analysis/test results do not show presence of substances like alcohol/narcotics. However, the pilot had low sugar level because she had not taken proper meal before the flight.
The pilot's training record was found okay and she had qualified for the solo flight. Pilot has been suspended for three months till the completion of investigation.
Investigators also inspecting aircraft and checking its maintenance record.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and their relevant accident investigation personnel are never this swift in taking actions and never so open and forthcoming in sharing information when one of their own (e.g. PIA) is involved.

I was wondering whose going to pay the cost for repair if
1. It was pilot's fault somehow
2. It was some sort of fault in aircraft?
And in either case, proved by investigation.
Flight instructors must ensure student pilots develop the required skills and knowledge prior to solo flight. The student pilot must show consistency in the required solo tasks: takeoffs and landings, ability to prioritize in maintaining control of the aircraft
