A stream of cargo flights from China will deliver COVID-19 relief items to Pakistan in coming days. These cargo fights will form an air bridge between the two neighboring countries to fight COVID-19.

Plan to send a PIA aircraft to China to bring a consignment of items/equipment to fight COVID-19 in Pakistan. Operation of special flight expected on March 27/28.

Another Pakistani aircraft also expected to depart for China to bring items/equipment from China. Operation of flight expected on March 27. Probably PAF Il-78MP MRTT.

Chinese team also expected to arrive in Pakistan on one of these flights to assist Pakistan in combating COVID-19.

March 25 - cargo flight expected to arrive in Pakistan from China with a consignment of 1,000,000 face masks including 50,000 N95 respirators and surgical masks (face masks) .

March 26 - cargo flight expected to arrive in Pakistan from China with 50,000 test kits for COVID-19, protective gear for medical staff/doctors/nurses including 30,000 overalls, unstitched cloth for stitching 30,000 protective overalls for medical staff at a factory in Lahore.

March 27 - cargo flight to/from Wuhan for transportation of six tonnes of COVID-19 relief goods from China to Pakistan. Items include sixteen to seventeen ventilators and protection equipment. Aircraft will be sent from Pakistan.

March 27 - cargo flight to/from Beijing or Chengdu for transportation of COVID-19 relief goods from China to Pakistan. Or two cargo flights one to Beijing and the other one to Changdu. Aircraft will be sent from Pakistan.

March 28 - cargo flight to/from Urumqi for transportation twelve tonnes of COVID-19 relief goods from China to Pakistan. Aircraft will be sent from Pakistan.

PIA and PAF aircraft expected to take part in the operation.

Today, Air China Airbus A319-115 registration B-6223 arrived in Islamabad at 9:17 AM as flight CA41 from Chengdu. Probably it carried Chinese relief items/teams to fight COVID-19 in Pakistan.

Today, YTO Cargo Airlines Boeing 757-28S registration B-2851 arrived in Karachi at 12:53 PM as flight YG9067 from Kunming.

The freighter arrived from China with relief items against COVID-19 including 450,000 surgical face masks and N95 face masks.

On March 27, a PIA Boeing 777 will perform special flight from Pakistan to Beijing via Chengdu & Wuhan to bring forty tonnes relief goods from China to fight COVID-19 in Pakistan. Items to be transported by the aircraft include protective gear and ventilators.

On March 28, a PAF Ilyushin Il-78MP Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) will fly to Urumqi to bring twenty-five tonnes of relief goods to fight COVID-19 in Pakistan.

Another PIA Boeing 777 or PAF Ilyushin Il-78MP flight also to be planned to bring a scanner.

Three more cargo flights planned for March 27, 30 and April 1 to transport tonnes of relief goods from China.

On March 27, a cargo flight expected to land in Karachi with 50,000 testing kits from China.

On March 27, PAF Ilyushin Il-78MP will fly to Wuhan to transport 15 tonnes of relief items including twenty ventilators from China.

On March 27, Pakistani military Mi-17 helicopter will transport Chinese relief goods from Khunjerab border to Gilgit.

On March 28, an aircraft will arrive from Urumqi with 15 tonnes of relief goods and an eight-member medical team from China.

15,000 protective overalls from Singapore expected to arrive in next three days on a private aircraft.

In coming days, an aircraft will fly to Chengdu to pick 20 tonnes of relief goods.

In coming days, an aircraft will fly to Beijing to pick 80 tonnes of relief goods.

On March 25, Air China Airbus A319-115 registration B-6223 performed flight CA42 from Islamabad to Chengdu with passengers, according to newspaper report. Probably carried diplomatic staff.

A Pakistan Army Eurocopter AS350 Ecureuil helicopter at Khunjerab Pass where a consignment of items to fight COVID-19 has arrived by road as a donation from Urumqi, Xinjiang, China.

Relief items include:

Five ventilators.
Two hundred thousand face masks.
Two thousand N95 face masks.
Two thousand test kits.
Protective gear for health professionals.

The Khunjerab border was opened for the transportation of these relief items.

A Pakistan Army Mil Mi-17-1V helicopter loaded with relief goods at Khunjerab Pass for their transportation to Gilgit.
