Emergency Exercise to Take Place at Sukkur Airport

A PIA Airbus A320 took part in full scale emergency exercise conducted at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Airport - Sukkur. The A320 was used for simulated evacuation of injured passengers.

CAA fire tenders reached fire location in forty seconds. The entire exercise was completed in ten to twelve minutes.

Sukkur is 4C category airport where narrow-body jet aircraft like Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 can be operated safely.

The emergency exercise is conducted after every two years.
