As far as I know, PIA slogan "Great People to Fly With" emerged during discussion between PIA's Omar Kureishi and a foreign advertising agency hired to design PIA ads. During the discussion, the advertising agency representative (probably Leo Burnett) asked Omar to describe PIA and he replied by saying 'PIA are great people to fly with'. Finally the day came on which the advertising agency gave presentation to PIA management to unveil new ads campaign. Omar was pleasantly surprised to see his remark becoming airline's slogan as 'Great people to fly with' in ads campaign unveiled by the news agency. The ad campaign with slogan was given approval by airline's Managing Director Malik Nur Khan.

The story about the "Who coin the slogan' Great people to fly with'" was actually coined by M. A Jamil, who was the Public Relations Manager working with Omar Kureshi. Ans since Omar was th Director an his boss, he claimed credit for it!!
