According to news sources:

PIA Airbus A310-300 registration AP-BEQ airframe has been sold to Leipzig Halle Airport.

The A310's two General Electric CF6 engines have been sold to ULS Airlines Cargo - (ulsairlines.com) that operates Airbus A310-300 freighters powered with CF6 engines.

The sale was done according to Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules & regulations.

According to following tweet, all PIA markings from fuselage, Pakistan flag from tail and registration AP-BEQ have removed from the Airbus A310-300 to prepare her for her new role as a trainer at Leipzig Halle Airport.

Leipzig Halle Airport intends to use Airbus A310-300 airframe for training airport's firefighters. The aircraft will also be made available on rent for filmmakers.

Parking charges amount in a six digit number had been accumulated by the stranded PIA aircraft.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is seeking report on the sale of PIA Airbus A310-300 (AP-BEQ) in Germany.

NAB chairman Javed Iqbal sought a report from the PIA for taking action against the former CEO of PIA who not only took PIA plane abroad without any legal authority and then sold it on throw away prices in Germany. The NAB chairman said that the PIA is our national asset and safety of this asset is our national duty.

He directed to identify the real culprits involved in the incident.

Today, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan informed the senate that the PIA aircraft (Airbus A310-300 registration AP-BEQ) that went to Germany was sold under Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules to a Turkish company for PKR 173,700,000/-.
