In May 2013, i travelled KUL-MRU. Air Mauritius is the only airline offering diect & non stop service (7hr). They made few changes compared to previous schedules. It included a 16 30 departure instead of the usual 09 30 departure and the singapore stop has been cancelled. And most importantly on the monday-tuesday rotation they fly an Airbus A340-300. gr8!! i was getting the opportunity to fly on one of their a340 after 12yrs! I hate their A330-200 which is their favorite for routes to perth, delhi, hongkong and kuala lumpur due to the unreasonable and uncomfortable seat pitch. In comparison you feel more comfortable on their old a340- the price to pay is an entertainment system of the 1990s ( the 12 channel movie show)
the sector was flown on the 'paille en queue" 3B-NBE which is a 1999 built

alright.found out that it was the new version of flickr that was not allowing the 'grab' function for individual pics.

it was a night landing and the old terminal was still in use.was quite a busy with a few other arrivals and the customs were on high alert as flights from madagascar or nairobi has landed.
