Yesterday there was a rather funny report about quite strange adverts throughout history. Quite amusing, however, the following PIA-advert in French from the year 1979 is really stunning with regard to history from today's view. Isn't it?
The German text reads as follows:
"DARK SHADOWS: In 1979 no one could even imagine something of the sort, and the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 lay in distant future. Without any bad thoughts to future happenings, the Pakistani National Airline PIA's advertized, their non-stop flights between Paris and New York. Now, more than three decades later, this advert showing the shadow of a jumbo cast on the Twin Towers, like a spine chilling foreboding of the attacks on the towers of the World Trade Center.
