Farnborough 2010 Pics.

Post by Moin »

The A380 was the first thing everyone saw at the entrance. This a/c is massive. It has to be seen up close to be believed. Entry into the Airbus pavilion and the A380 was strictly by invitation only. Commoners were not allowed.

The C-17 is huge and a real beauty. The USAF were giving people tours on board but the line was too long.

Yes those are the traditional British Red Arrows. They perform at all UK airshows and events.

I was very happy to see the PAF JF-17's on display. Pakistan was probably the only country from Asia to be participating in this show. I didn't see displays from any other country other than from the US and Europe. The 2 a/c are based at Kamra and they did a flying display on the non-public days.

Moin, did you have inside access into C-17 of U.S Air Force? I never saw the inside of C-17 and very curious for it. This air show might help.
