Today (August 14) History of PIA website was updated.

The photo was taken during Douglas Aircraft Company's DC-10 Flight Training Program, Long Beach, California, in 1974. In the background, PIA's first brand new McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 (registration AP-AXC) can be seen awaiting engines' installation. AP-AXC was delivered to PIA on March 1, 1974 and it was first wide-body airliner operated by the Pakistani flag carrier – Khawaja Naseem Ahmed Collection
