Shot at Rahimyar Khan (OPRK) on 20th of March 2008, This ATR AP-BHJ took part in PIA's Emergency Responce Plan.

Actually what happend did the aircraft had emergency landing ?

It was only practice, CAA Pakistan practice this drill every 3 years. It is also used as airfield certification.

As also stated by Pfactor, the emergency drill is conducted by CAA to test effectiveness of rescue team and also for certification of the air field.

I would also like to add that usually a parked aircraft is used for such drill. The drill is effective way to check airport emergency rescue team's response in real time. It also tests effectiveness of all components of rescue team that include medical team, fire fighters and equipment used by them. Coordination between rescue team components is also tested through this drill. The poeple seen as passengers are actually volunteers who take part in the drill and act as injured passengers with proper make-up including fake blood stains on face and clothes
