So they got it ultimately. A scout helicopter after a long wait and evaluation of various options, finally AS 350 Fennic has been inducted.
On a theoratical side, scout helicopter is a typical US concept which is not in practice in other military forces both in west of ex soviet bloc. I dont know if the induction of scout helicopters is appropriate at this stage when the Cobra helicopters have been operating in combat without a scout cover and more importantly are nearing their twilight.
