Wow !

I agree with Amaad that the design should cover the complete tail but with Gold PIA on it.

The first design reminds me of the BA Delft design they used to have during the World Schemes period, but in a more brighter blue.

I think it's an excellent way to promote Pakistan to the world and it's high time this happened.

I guess the pin SENIOR got was merely a decoy from the real thing, but what a waste to create a memorabilia item for something that won't ever exist.

I think this is what you're talking about.

Talking about the new livery, well I have lost faith in PIA long ago. They are no better than Bhoja or Aero Asia. There was an image couple of decades ago but now it has become a joke. Shame on you PIA.

we Pakistanis have decided that we will keep complaining.I know the tails are not the greatest design but its better than flag, atleast somthing new!

Seems like a 50/50 of people liking and disliking this design...

For me, I shall wait for the real thing on AP-BAK before to pass judgement..though it does look good but this is a cartoon have to wait for the real thing..when is the date btw for AP-BAK release?

what are they puttin on the ATR's then if there are only 4 kinds they have right now ?

One more thing i was wondering, if the FLAG they have on the current livery is replaced with the small flag they have on this one ... wont it look better?

Yeah the Fokkers are out ! The first post by Abbas show the tails on the B747, B777, A310 and B737...so maybe they have one for the ATR too..

So i guess they plan to name the airplanes by city as well now cuz i see PEW and UET there already ... Lahore and Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad and many more ... they might fill em all up....hope one of the LR is Lahore

Air New Zealand have launched a similar scheme where every aircraft tells a story about New Zealand's different regions and the seats of that aircraft have designs according to that area.

honestly, you guys are nuts if you don't like this or like that hideous flag tail better than this. Its very unique and like jetBlue and it actually says something about our country...

I agree that the urdu PIA on the top part of the tail should be removed and the design shown in its entirety but if the green stripe is the same as the colors on the tail (as suggested by AirBlue) then the large PIA titles would need to be the same color or else there would be a color clash.

It seems that so far they have chosen 4 themes, 3 representing cities and 1 a region, although I feel that Isb would have been a better candidate to be Natures Orchard instead of Uet which could have been another theme. Also there should have been a Sindhi Ajrak theme as well as that design is very well known too. As for Karachi, the only theme I can see appropriate at this time is one of a TT Pistol and a time bomb!
