Kidding eh!
Well for donkeys years crews in PIA (Cabin and cockpit) have been blessed with designated crew loaders.
Not only in Pakistan but also at selected outstations.
How's that!

@rayyanullah Yes, you are right.

In PIA, the cabin crew usually carry/drag their luggage, but the pilots have far more privileges.

Some of the 14-15 billion just released surely goes towards this. :D

سنگین مالی مسائل کے باعث پی آئی اے کا کینیڈا کیلئے فضائی آپریشن بند ہونے کا خدشہ

ہفتہ وار لاکھوں ڈالرز ریونیو فراہم کرنے والا قومی ایئر لائنز پی آئی اے کا کینیڈا فضائی آپریشن بھی سنگین مالی مسائل کے باعث بند ہونے کا خدشہ ہے۔

لاکھوں ڈالرز کی عدم ادائیگی پر پی آئی اے پروازوں کو گراؤنڈ ہینڈلنگ سروسز بند کردی گئیں۔

گراؤنڈ ہینڈلنگ سروسز فراہم کرنے والی سوئس پورٹ نامی کمپنی نے گزشتہ روز سروسز کی فراہمی بند کرنے کا مراسلہ اور ای میل جاری کیا۔

مراسلے میں کہا گیا کہ واجبات کی عدم ادائیگی پر 3 اکتوبر 5 بجے شام سے سروسز بند کی جا رہی ہیں۔

انہوں نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ 2 لاکھ 48 ہزار ڈالرز کی فوری ادائیگی کی جائے جبکہ آئندہ سروسز کی فراہمی کے لیے 1 لاکھ ڈالرز ایڈوانس بھی ادا کیے جائیں۔

مراسلے میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ پی آئی اے کو واجبات کی ادائیگی کے لیے بارہا یاد دہانیاں کرائی گئیں، دونوں کمپنیوں کے مابین معاہدے کی متعلقہ شرائط کے تحت سروسز بند کی جا رہی ہیں

پی آئی اے منیجر پسنجر ہینڈلنگ سروسز کو ای میل اور مراسلہ سوئس پورٹ کے نائب صدر کمرشل نے جاری کیا۔

ترجمان پی آئی اے کو مؤقف کے لیے ای میل اور مراسلہ روانہ کرنے کے باوجود جواب نہیں دیا گیا۔

خیال رہے کہ سنگین مالی مسائل سے دوچار پی آئی اے کا ٹورنٹو آپریشن ہفتہ وار لاکھوں ڈالرز ریونیو فراہم کرتا ہے

PIA can give the crew bags with rollers instead and save the money.

If I remember correctly, PIA's B777-200ERs except BMG and BMH were de-rated at 277 Tons MTOW instead of 296 Tons (maximum for the -200ER). If that is correct, then I do not get how BGK can fly all the way to Toronto.

out of topic but related to Toronto flight. last Tuesday (6th Aug) my mother booked with KHI~YYZ but PIA canceled that flight without reason. seems like they don't have enough load & now rebook her for next Tuesday. No idea if they cancel again.

^ Toronto flights cancellation probably due to unavailability of both Boeing 777-200LR aircraft in PIA fleet in recent days.

AP-BGY inactive since performing May 12 Toronto to Karachi flight PK784.

KHI-YYZ-KHI used to be a 2x weekly flight but now it's just 1x. If PIA is able to use its other 777s for Toronto then it should reintroduce the 5th flight.

PIA's 2x B777-200ERs have MTOW of 296 Tons and have also overhead crew rest areas. PIA can use these on Toronto flights too.

last 20 years ago my old friend Captain PIA 777 retired told me that all AP=BGJ BGK BGL changed from 277000kg to 296000kg same time installed EFB Electric Flight Bag board in June 2004. there fuel 137,000kg but 6000kg per hour x 15 = 90,000kg plus aircraft weight 206,000g total 296,000kg but maximum landing 213,000kg no problem no issues but 777LR fuel 145,000kg & 7000kg per hour & maximum landing 223,000kg. I have been flew Thai Airways 7772D7ER HS-TJT took off maximum 294.000kg and maximum 208,000kg from Bangkok to Auckland AKL last 7 years ago but British Airways all 777200ER maximum take off 286,000kg and landing 204,000kg old version. I flew British Airways 787-10 from LHR Heathrow to SCL Santiago de Chile 14hours maximum took off 251,000kg & landed 180,000kg with F8/C40/Y165 + 14 crew total 227 board. I like 787-10 long fuselage and good Premium Economy class 16K window lovely. I flew British Airways A350-1000 maximum took off 313,000kg from Cape Town to LHR with full payload but Qantas A350-1000 upgraded 321,000kg take off will fly nonstop Sydney to London to Sydney coming soon.
