why would one bother to make so many connections:?:
Well... the IAH flight isn't nonstop either (2 stops from Karachi, I believe) so you aren't saving much time (if any) by taking PK
partially true, as many pax in business class don't have to or don't get off on any of the connections....not to mention, there is a lot of walking @ DXB, and potential missed flights and delays...

PIA should route the Houston flight directly to Karachi (not via Lahore) and offer connections to different South Asian and domestic destinations within two hours.

Houston-Manchaster-Karachi twice a week 777ER.

This means 18 hours from Houston to Karachi (including the stop in Manchaster) and two hours later to Bombay and New Dehli.

The flight time from Houston to Bombay and New Dehli would be 22 hours, with two stops.

Much better until Emirates starts its non-stops between Houston and
Dubai.

PIA has to work on reducing the flight time for transit passengers, the only way it will attract passengers from India or Bangladesh.

And ofcourse the choice of a vegetarian meal for the Indian passengers.

28 Hour wait for an aircraft at Houston.... i must say biggest blunder what an airline could do.
Why didnt they Increase Frequency to JFK to Daily and provide connection to IAH.

Then simply withdraw route and Start 3x to ORD or 7x to JFK instead of 6x.

An A310 can't do such a long route like MAN-IAH-MAN, especially the return route.

No, they are using a 74M not a 777.
