ME3 lobby at its best.
In USA, recently there have been so many accidents and response from EU/UK has been "crickets". When PIA restarted Paris, there was a significant decrease in fares. If UK gets started, it will be a bog loss for ME3

in my opinion the time has come for PIA to spread its wings in Europe, strangely they have not yet started routes such as Oslo, Milan, Barcelona, first of all restore these perhaps from the main stations of Pakistan Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and then start Frankfurt and Amsterdam, in Africa instead they could start flights to Egypt which can also transport goods and Kenya, Australia could be another country to keep an eye on and finally expand into Indochina with Thailand, and start flights to Seoul and Tokyo, in my opinion this is advantageous for both passengers and the company to earn and bring back into the air the aircraft that have been grounded for years.

Typical Pakistani mindset & attitude blaming own incompetence on others is your airline flawless?
Management's Incompetence mentioned below not caused by ME3:
2020 Crash (No check & balance before this on Pilots landing approach, no check on previous near misses)
No Flight approach monitoring system previously
Crew slipping out in Canada
Crew carrying iphones & other stuff illegally
Fleet mismanagement
Failing to procure parts
One one the worst maintained widebody fleet (EU flights only allowed on BGK due to this reason)
Recent incidents :
A320 landing on wrong runway
A320 MLG detached during takeoff

Totally agree, as if everything was not enough today it seems that ap-blb has some problems since he is not flying and the flights assigned to him are being carried out with different planes, it is a disgrace to see that only half of the company's planes are already flying, and even those have something to tell us every week.Usman123 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:41 pm Typical Pakistani mindset & attitude blaming own incompetence on others is your airline flawless?

What bearing would the ME3 have on the UK DFT?t-rehman wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:19 pm ME3 lobby at its best.

Don't worry, at this time we should focus on PIA's 2nd privatization. The 3 companies that are participating in PIA's Privatization are already scaring the ME3 group.t-rehman wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 9:19 pm ME3 lobby at its best.

PIA flying to Paris is enough for now, lets slowly get PIA to fly to Germany, Italy and Norway.

That will take some time as only AP-BGK is allowed to operate EU routes.PIA330 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:23 pmDon't worry, at this time we should focus on PIA's 2nd privatization. At least the Paris flight is enough, and can help the privatisation process.planefan2003 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:26 pmThat will take some time as only AP-BGK is allowed to operate EU routes.PIA330 wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 10:23 pmDon't worry, at this time we should focus on PIA's 2nd privatization. The decision definitely makes no sense, and smells of politics behind, probably by BA.

It makes plenty of sense. They saw yet another outrageous incident (wheel fell off the plane) and they sent the delegation packingfaisal-777 wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 6:35 am The decision definitely makes no sense, and smells of politics behind, probably by BA.

There literally is no decision as of now idk what this particular channel of this forum even on about.Where does the UK CAA has issued a formal notice to CAA or PIA or to the press where they mention the ban is gonna go on or not for all we know there hasn't been any result gone out regarding the ban's review of not only PIA all the mentioned Airlines of Pakistan. All we are doing is talking our media's WORD (we all know what good that is) over nothing because that's the only information we have and we can act on.faisal-777 wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 6:35 am The decision definitely makes no sense, and smells of politics behind, probably by BA.

Re: Meeting in March in UK Expected to Allow Resumption of Pakistani Airlines Flights to/from UK
I don't understand the glee with which some people are welcoming this decision. I've been seeing A LOT of airlines having issues like this in the West, but they haven't had their permissions revoked. I do think that there's a strong lobby preventing PIA from returning to the UK. It just doesn't make any sense for it to be allowed into the EU and not the UK. Zilch!
I used to travel quite frequently with PIA from 2016-18 and the flight was always comfortable. The best part was that you'd get to London in the blink of an eye. And it was such a good feeling to see three PIA planes together at Heathrow. I really hope those times return. I think the airline deserves a chance.
