Bids submission date extended by two months from July 15 to September 16 for outsourcing operations & management of Islamabad International Airport.



The decision was made in a meeting of the Steering Committee on outsourcing of Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore airports held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on July 12.

Airport operators from different countries including from Europe have shown interest in Islamabad International Airport, the meeting was informed.

Reference: Request for Proposals for Award of Concession dated August 8, 2023, and its Addendum issued on 15 June 2024 by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) for participation in the Tender Procedure and to submit their Proposals for the Project in accordance with the requirements of the request for proposals document (RFP) and the Applicable Evaluation Documents.

Finalize Outsourcing Operations and Management of Islamabad Airport by November 7 - Dar



On October 30, Steering Committee on Airport Outsourcing held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad reviewed progress of International Finance Corporation (IFC) technical assistance on bids received for outsourcing operations and management of Islamabad International Airport.

Dar directed completion of process to outsource operations and management of Islamabad International Airport on fast track and transparent manner by November 7.

Aviation Ministry directed to expedite outsourcing of Islamabad Airport

Steering Committee on outsourcing of the Islamabad International Airport has directed Ministry of Aviation to expedite the outsourcing process of the Airport.



The directive was issued at a meeting of the Committee held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.

The meeting decided to approve the recommendation of Pakistan Airports Authority that the bidder was technically qualified for outsourcing of the Islamabad International Airport.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and other government officials were also present in the meeting.
