Turbat Airport not available for military flight operations due upgradation construction work in progress on airside. However 24-hour prior coordination is required for non scheduled civil traffic subject to availability of runway due to parking constraints.

Turbat International Airport certified for aircraft operations up to Aerodrome Reference Code 3C or below under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) from November 11, 2023, to May 10, 2024.

Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued:



Aerodrome with 3C reference code allows operation of narrow-body jet category aircraft including Airbus A320 family/Boeing 737 family aircraft. It will enable Pakistani and foreign airlines to operate flights between Turbat and Gulf States/Iran with Airbus A320/Boeing 737 aircraft.

Previously, Turbat Airport was capable of handling aircraft like ATR and Fokker F27.
