Very exciting,hopefully Airblue's induction will set of a trend to induct the modern and efficient NEOs in Pakistan , serene sooner or later will have to get them too as 737-Max is anything but reliable now.

Brand new airblue Airbus A321neo (aircraft construction number 9560) has completed its first flight (Airbus test flight AIB560A) from & to Hamburg under German pre-delivery test flight aircraft registration D-AZAQ.
The test flight was completed in one hour & fifty-six minutes. The aircraft departed from Hamburg at 2:42 PM and landed in Hamburg at 4:38 PM.
The maximum altitude gained by A321neo during the test flight was 39,000 feet.

'ABQ' is also ICAO code for airblue.
In the past, registration AP-ABQ was issued to Government of Sindh de Havilland Canada DH-83C Fox Moth.

Will be rare instance of an old de-registered aircraft registration issued to another aircraft in Pakistan.

Today, airblue brand new Airbus A321neo (currently registered in Germany as D-AZAQ) underwent engines' test run and taxi check at Airbus facility at Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport in Germany.
