This incident is being widely reported in Western media over the last couple of days. Can you imagine this happening in a British airport???? The culprit would be in jail and charged straightaway. In Pakistan he gets away with assaulting staff whilst the ASF are sleeping. To top it all, it's a government official. Then we wonder why Western airlines won't fly into Pakistan.

Are you a minister? The Chief Justice said to the minister and asked for video of the incident to be shown in the court.

The minister replied that for a reason he pushed the PIA employee.

The PIA employee was humiliated by the minister, the court said.

The Chief Justice remarked is this way to behave for a delayed flight and asked the minister why he interfered with official work of the airline/airport?

The Chief Justice also ordered Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police to appear in the court for registering case against the minister.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered registration of case against Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Minister Fida Hussain Khan.

Chief Justice asked IG Islamabad Police that why did not take action against the minister.

The IG Islamabad Police replied that the airport comes under the jurisdiction of Punjab Police.

The Supreme Court ordered Punjab Government to register the case. From the incident video, it appears that crime was committed.

The minister said that he's a poor person from Gilgit-Baltistan and requested the court to show mercy.

The court asked the minister not to issue political statement and rejected his expression of regret.

The minister sought forgiveness in the court.

The court has asked him to submit a written apology. Badmashi will not be allowed to prevail in the country, the court remarked.

Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan said that flights get delayed/cancelled and asked the minister that is this the way to protest in a civilized society?

You also burned your jacket at the airport, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan said to the minister. Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar remarked that it could have become a bigger fire at the airport.

The court asked for registration of the case against the second minister also.

Ha ha Ha... Look at the reply from that minister! Wasn't he poor when he was deliberately pushing that PIA staff? Thank God he is poor, had he been a rich, wonder what he had done.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has accepted written unconditional apology submitted by Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Minister Fida Hussain Khan. The minister in his apology said that he's ashamed of the behavior he exhibited at the airport.

The court directed Mr. Khan to amend his apology letter to seek forgiveness from PIA employee also.

Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar said that because of his love for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan he's forgiving Fida Hussain Khan. The minister has been directed to be careful in future and the case is closed.
