Re: Miscellaneous Pakistani Military Aircraft
Hi,
Is there not Attacker left in Pakistan today, maybe as a gate guard somewhere, or perhaps in some storage somewhere?

Re: Miscellaneous Pakistani Military Aircraft
^ I don't think there's any surviving sample of PAF Supermarine Attacker on display in Pakistan, although it would have been nice to see one or two Attacker aircraft preserved because Attacker was PAF's first jet aircraft. PAF's first jet aerobatics team named 'Paybill' was also formed with Attacker aircraft.
Btw, according to books/articles related to PAF history, Attacker consistently experienced technical problems during service with PAF. So, it will be interesting to know how many of 36 brand new Attackers purchased by Pakistan survived by the end of 1958 when PAF phased out these aircraft from active service. According to one of official PAF history books, problem-plagued Attacker was phased out in 1956 meaning only five years of service (1951-56) with PAF for the aircraft type.
