Well guys another addition added to the present fleet. This is my 2nd RC ducted fan jet kit!. It's one of the most expansive and very high quality kits offered by Yellow Aircraft. This jet is 1/8th scale and fits perfectly with my Arrow scale wise. I just bought the fuselage and internals with couple used but great in condition flying stabilizers with it. This one as as expansive as my Arrow was!....
I will be doing this as "Hornet 1" in special 100th Anniversary colors that is presently done on one of real CF-18's to commemorate 100th anniversary for powered flight in Canada through out this year 2009
Model's fuselage sitting on my Arrow!, look at the size difference between the two!!
Another new Jet entered the hanged tonight! F/A-18 Hornet !!

what's that material used for the body? carbon-fiber?
This is mostly fiberglass but there will be areas in the fuselage that would need stiffening with carbon-fiber at later date.
Personally F/A-18s are not my type of jets, i only got this due to such a beautiful livery recently unveiled on "Hornet 1" to commemorate 100th Anniversary of powered flight this year here in Canada. It's so beautiful and attractive livery that i just had to build CF-18 Hornet 1 for myself too....
