Taken at MAN, I was wondering whats wrong with the lower beacon light of the PIA. The upper and lower lights are supposed to flash in unison. Neither is the a/c looking very clean if you compare it to the SIA 777 that follows:

And check out this flawless landing at ORD:

Check out these 777's.

The 777 engines have a very, very different sound than what I'm used to hearing from other older jets (747, MD-11 and an even older DC-10). When the engines spool up, it almost sounds like a race-car.
On a side note, the Singapore Captain/1stOfficer sounded Pakistani/Indian (and not the Singaporean Tamil kind either)

nice links, thank you.
firstly the beacon rotates it doesnt flash.
secondly its not "supposed" to do anything....have seen upper and lower beacons rotating at different times on countless airplanes, like 737, 747, etc. but never on T7.....

The angle of arrival is inversely proportional to the probability of survival.

Not on newer a/c. The upper and lower beacon lights on all newer a/c now flash. Rotating lights went away with the 707's and early 747's. The PIA 747's AP-AYV, AYW, BCL, BCM, BCN, BCO, BAK and BAT all had the older rotating type lights. The 743's have flashers. The last 747's to get rotating beacon lights were probably the SV 743's.
Here is a video of AP-BAT and you can clearly see the lights rotating:

Also the newer a/c all have the upper and lower beacon lights flashing in unison together. Its only the older ones like the AB4, 732, A310, 742, 743, DC-10 etc which had flashers which were timed differently.
Look at this beautiful VS 744 and the lights are obviously flashing. Totally different from BAT:

An interesting thing to note here. Check out these El Al a/c. Their beacon lights, including the light at the rear by the APU, flash in a very irregular manner, like after about every 10 seconds. Its could be a security thing as their a/c all have counter measures, not to mention the security vehicles on the side of the runway when they arrive:

This 772 upon landing, the lower beacon light flashes maybe about once, but when departing, its flashing normally alongwith the upper light:
