The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,

Thanks for your comments. I am not happy with with my graphics as I am not getting the results I was expecting but it's better than my previous system. The specs of my this system are:

Philips-freevents
Intel Pentium D 945
3.4 GHz
2.00 RAM GB DDR2 (400 MHz)
300 GB HD (SATA 2, 7200 rpm)
ATi Radeon X1300 Series, 256 MB Graphic.

cpt_747, thank you for sharing the EK flight screen shots! Seems to be that you were capturing the screenshots while flying but not after flight with Instant Replay option. Also noticed that the touch down was too late.... Keep posting ....

Thats right, I take screen shots as I fly, because Instant replay reduces the quality of graphics. The reason I touched-down late because I was facing cross wind andit affected on the glide-slope. As you can see it was well away from the cetre-line of the RWY.

Sorry guys, just like my previous post, the screenies got mixed up, its the image hosting website that is creating this problem.
