Pak chopper goes missing
ISLAMABAD (Online) - A Pak army helicopter engaged in relief and rescue operation in quake-torn areas of Bagh has gone missing with two Pak army officers on board.
Well-placed sources said Saturday that a military helicopter with two army officers included a Major and Captain.
It is feared that the chopper had crashed amid bad weather and heavy rain in the calamity-hit areas of Azad Kashmir.

Army Aviation's helicopter crashes near Bagh: six soldiers embrace shahadat
RAWALPINDI, Oct 16 (APP): One MI-17 Helicopter of Pakistan Army Aviation, a part of the ongoing relief and rescue operation, has crashed in the mountains of Bagh valley.
According to ISPR here Sunday, the Helicopter was carrying relief items from Bagh to the quake-afflicted areas, which so far had not been accessed.
After no communication contact with the Helicopter, its search was started some where around mid-day on Saturday which concluded in finding of its debris at around 1:30 am Sunday.
All the six onboard have met shahadat including, four officers, one JCO, and one NCO. Three martyred officers have been identified as senior pilot Lt. Col. Roghani, senior pilot Captain Rahim and Major Umar Baig Mirza.
Bad weather or technical fault could be the cause of this crash, however, an investigation has been ordered to determine the actual cause.

PM condoles death of Army officers in helicopter crash
ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP): Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz expressed his deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad incident of crash of MI-17 helicopter of Pakistan Army Aviation.
Talking to newsmen here Sunday, the Prime Minister said Pakistan Army is doing a wonderful job in the relief and rescue operation in the worst earthquake particularly in the remote and hilly areas.
The Prime Minister while praying for the eternal peace of those who embraced Shahadat in the helicopter crash said Pakistan Army always sacrificed for the protection and safety of the people.
He said it was great honour of Pakistan Army that despite the tragic incident which caused death of six officials, the brave soldiers continued their mission of providing relief, rescuing the injured and transferring them to the hospitals despite bad weather.
