Flights to be operated to/from Mai Bakhtawar Airport located near Islamakot/Mithi in Thar to facilitate Thar coal projects' workers including Chinese. Talks held with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for flight operations.

Today, meeting between delegations of Government of Sindh led by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Aviation Ministry led by Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique was informed that Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) team will visit Mai Bakhtawar Airport to review arrangements at the airport for flight operations resumption.
