PAF Aircraft Crashes Near Mardan

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Cessna T-37 Tweet jet trainser aircraft has crashed near Mardan. Pilot embraced martyrdom.

The aircraft was on a routine training flight.

A board of inquiry has been formed by air head quarters to determine the cause of crash.

A Cessna T-37 Tweet twin-engined jet trainer of PAF crashed in Ganderhi, Nowshera. The aircraft had departed from PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur, for a routine training flight.

"A Pakistan Air Force trainer aircraft crashed during a routine training mission," said a spokesperson for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). "A pilot was martyred during the incident as he could not eject from the plane timely," he added.
