Point is that competition for UK to PK market is mainly nonstop direct flights which Pakistani remained loyal to PIA for that option, now Pakistanis are enjoying a quality product from BA and VS, which filled that void and as well as PIA sub par product.
Wizz Air only be good to get small percentage from that market, it might be open new door to tourism for Europeans.
Low cost from Asia, Turkey or Middle East works cause of the short distance and demand of Pakistani visiting countries like UAE, Turkey, Malaysia and Thailand where they can get visas easily.
From Europe I can only see Wizz picking up students from across Europe and some cheap random tourist that are heading to Pakistan to get offered free stuff from Pakistanis that will go viral on social media.

I cant put it past PIA to not cause a commotion on Wizz Air starting flights to Pakistan. None the less, honestly welcome the service and hope they expand further.

9W expects now to start flights to Indian subcontinent in 2022:
"We have all the approvals from the UAE side, and now we're in the middle of the process of getting regulatory approvals from the subcontinent countries. It's up to the destination markets to approve that. All the bilateral services agreements are in place. It is a matter of finalizing documentary and regulatory approvals, and then we are good to go there as well. We will see that happen sometime in 2022," said Kees Van Schaick, managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi."

Isn't it 5W? Last week I flew AUH-ATH-AUH and the flight numbers were 5W7007/5W7008 for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.baberblues wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 3:16 am 9W expects now to start flights to Indian subcontinent in 2022:

9W i guess is inter European routes. And by the way, they wanted Budapest and Islamabad not Abu Dhabi. Anyway, still a good move.
