This is quit contrary to what was identified as rout cause of the accident? You are clearly blaming Capt Janjau for the accident for a reason that was not the one in the investigation reports, can you please elaborate further?umar744 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 2:40 am Last time I met late second 2nd Flight engineer's name is F/E Riaz before he died crashed PK268 AP-BCP. Late Capt Iftikhar & F/O Hasan both should be responsible to prepare read paperwork before approach & landing because of dangerous mountains level. Last Dec 1993 I flew PIA with my old friend PIA pilot to Kathmandu and I saw PIA pilot read paperwork prepare double check before approach & landing then after took off from Kathmandu then PIA pilot carefully control pass overfly mountain and I photo picture of Mountain Everest way to DAC Dhaka. I have seen PIA AP-BCP Tail wreckage when we overfly mountain to approached landed Kathmandu and I saw TOWER AIR Boeing 747-100 in Kathmandu but my friend Lufthansa Captain B747-400 had been flew Boeing 747-400 landed Kathmandu before also my friend Concorde Captain pilot Concorde landed Kathmandu. AN124 Cargo landed Kathmandu also my friend F/O Aroosh Naqvi flew B747-300 landed Kathmandu. Turkish A333 crashed landed KTM runaway wrote off during fog. Thai DC8 ran over RWY in KTM wrote off.

Totally disagree with you, Captain Janjua and F/O Hassan had landed the same equipment 7 times and 5 times respectively into Kathmandu, so to say that they had not done the paperwork is a ridiculous. The crash reasons have been well established, stated in the documentary as well so I need to repeat hereumar744 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 6:08 pm Late Capt Iftikhar & F/O Hasan both should be responsible to prepare read paperwork before approach & landing because of dangerous mountains level. Does anyone know from where we can have the "official" report of PK-268? For where these Nat Geo people obtained it from?

This is one of the worst Air Crash Investigation episodes I have seen. It seems they have used Indians to represent Pakistani crew. Do Pakistani pilots address their captains as 'Commander'? The
flight was not low at the time of impact that the GPWS could not saved it, but that has been totally ignored in the episode. On top of all that, the missing CVR recording... it seems there has been a coverup for some sinister reason!
