Who is responsible for keeping the airfield clean of birds? I presume it is CAA?
And who incurs the cost of a bird hit? Is it the airline or can the airline hand over the repair bill of the aircraft to CAA since it is CAAs responsibility (again I assume) to keep the airfield clear of birds?

The aviation regulatory body also urged inhabitants residing near airports to dispose off garbage at designated places as responsible citizens.
