Re: British Airways Planning to Start Flights for Lahore
PIA MAN-ISB-MAN route was very strong and probably one of the reasonable route frequented well.
BA and Virgin Atlantic arrival is basically threat to ME3, PIA is kind of numb and continue to operate the way as they can. Looks like British carriers are taping the situation that PIA is banned to operate till december.
Best thing PIA can do is, to cement relationship with TK for all European and North American routes, and start exploring possibility of operating flight with 3x Weekly frequency to Sydney/Australia.
Also, PIA can increase frequency daily to ISB-KUL and ISB can easily covers PEW bound passengers as well for this scenario.

I have feeling that if LHE and ISB become success story for BA and due to the seamless transfer option mention above for N.A. region , BA could start Karachi flight, may be six months from now.Abbas Ali wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 2:17 pm From London, British Airways will offer seamless transfer options to Manchester, USA and Canada.

Be nice to see them come to Karachi lot of business traffic between the 2 cities and lot of Karachities in Toronto, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, and Los Angeles, though with the Middle East airlines have Karachi dominated especially Emirates before the covid they had 5 to 6 flights daily. Most Pakistani are now comfortable with Middle East carriers due to all the Islamic followings etc.

Re: British Airways Planning to Start Flights for Lahore
With BA and VS both at Lahore, one of them will have to get booted, it will probably be VS just due to the timings of the flight doesn't meet any North American connections on the return. Be interesting how things shake up when PIA can actually return back to Europe & UK.
