I think you need to calm down and think over it a bit.
Pakistan publicly came out on a global stage and said 200 or so pilots have fake licenses. India in this has not made any claim, also why EASA has NOT banned India. Please don't assume things off the bat. Also, Brexit wouldn't change things anyways as we are currently in a transition period and STILL follow EU law.

According to EASA documents/letters:

Meetings on corrective action plans in PIA were taking place between the Pakistani airline and EASA since June 2019.

Since September 2019, PIA was seeking additional time from EASA for the development safety management system software. The last deadline was extended from May 24, 2020, to June 17, 2020, by EASA.

In response to a letter sent by EASA to PIA on June 26, 2020, the airline sought additional three to four months' time for software development. EASA did not extend the deadline this time because it says the airline had been granted sufficient time (more than nine months) to eliminate the issue.

EASA also expressed concerns over dubious/suspicious licences of PIA pilots and breaches of multiple layers of safety defences in PIA flight PK8303 crash.

These were the reasons for suspension of PIA by EASA.

Immediately after the A320 crash the dubious or suspicious pilot licences scandal surfaced The crash investigation and updated news about the crash got buried under the dust.
At PIA what measures or improvements have been made or airlines planes to correct and eliminate those safety breaches , so after two months of crash any thing airline can point out the changes they have initiated, as airline is fully aware of the facts that what factors cause the crash.
The wait for final investigation report is useless as every thing clear what went wrong there . Western media calls it a stupid crash and even used such words for dead pilots. How PIA is going to convince EASA.

One case of pilot suicide does not mean a EUROPEAN airline gets banned from Europe.

Time to return AP-BMG, BMH and BMS to the leasing companies and save some money.

Maybe wet lease the HiFly Malta 3 A330-300s and try to resume some flights to UK, and Europe if they allow wet lease aircraft.

Safety Management System software includes automatically recorded crew duty and rest hours. However, PIA failed to install the software within deadline given by EASA and kept seeking deadline extensions.

‘PIA flights to Europe likely to restart in two months’

Amjad Iqbal

Updated 15 Aug 2020

TAXILA:
European skies are expected to open for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in the next two months as the government is utilising all technical and diplomatic means to resolve the ban issue, Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said on Friday.

“PIA is in contact with European Union Air Safety Agency (EASA) to allay their concerns and take necessary corrective measures along with filing an appeal against the decision on Aug 31,” Mr Khan said, adding there is room for the appeal against the EASA ban and the government will file it.

Pakistan to appeal against European Air Safety Agency ban

Just days ago, EASA rejected the appeal of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), as the agency decided to maintain the ban on PIA flights till December 31.

Ali Ahmed 15 Aug 2020

Despite getting its appeal rejected, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) remains persistent to resolve its ban issue with the European Air Safety Agency (EASA).

As per details, the national air carrier is in contact with EASA, informed Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar, who was of the view that the issue is expected to be resolved in two months.

Sarwar added that the government would be filing an appeal against EASA’s decision on August 31. Just days ago, EASA rejected the appeal of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), as the agency decided to maintain the ban on PIA flights till December 31 and at the same time threatened that the ban could be extended if they are not satisfied with the safety measures of Pakistan Civil Aviation.

However, the extension in the ban is conditional on Pakistan's civil aviation measures, said EASA.

On July 1, the European Air Safety Agency (EASA) issued a six-month ban on all PIA flights to Europe. The United Kingdom and the USA followed suit imposing a ban on all PIA flights.

The ban comes in the aftermath of an inquiry report regarding the crash of PIA flight 8303, operated by Airbus A320. In June, Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar stated that 260 of 860 Pakistani pilots, including 141 PIA pilots, never sat for the exams and that their licenses were fake.

Just to clarify where we are with this. Is this the first appeal PIA is making or was the appeal rejected (I'm sure I read this somewhere) and therefore going back again for the second time?
