On February 27, 2019, during Pakistan Air Force (PAF) "Operation Swift Retort", Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 (aircraft serial number CU2328) piloted by Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was shot down by PAF No. 11 "Arrows" Squadron F-16A Fighting Falcon (aircraft serial number 92731) piloted by Wing Commander Noman Ali Khan.

Tamgha-e-Jurat received by Wing Commander Hasan Mehmood Siddiqui at a ceremony arranged at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad today.



On February 27, 2019, during PAF "Operation Swift Retort", an IAF Sukhoi Su-30 was targeted by PAF No. 11 "Arrows" Squadron F-16B Fighting Falcon (aircraft serial number 84606) piloted by then Squadron Leader Hasan Mehmood Siddiqui.
