According to Pakistan CAA spokesperson, the wild boar had entered the airfield by digging under the perimeter fence. The animal was crushed to death by aircraft landing gear tyres.

A typical wild boar seen in Islamabad. Airport perimeter fence security monitoring is the responsibility of Airports Security Force (ASF), said Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson.
