Actually, PIA started its flight operations in 1954 with three brand new Lockheed Super Constellation aircraft and that makes the airline sixty-six-year-old (1954-2020).
However, for some reason PIA celebrates its birth anniversary starting from 1955 when Orient Airways merged into it and PIA became a Corporation i.e. PIAC.
In 2016, the airline became a Corporation Limited i.e. PIACL.
