It is really amazing to see the monthly salaries for the pilots of old times, and today these few thousand rupees are not even enough for daily expense.

Thank you for posting these. I remember some of the TV ads from the 80s (they were few and far between but really were a delight).

I didn't in realize that in 1973 when we had the Mirage and F-6s (F6 had been in since 1966) , we were still brandishing the Sabre which by then was more than 20 years old.
