Re: Baghdad International Airport.
i like the structural design of the airport.
by the way the iraqi airlines livery is one of the simplest- i guess its temporary.im not sure if they are still fighting among themselves about choosing a more definitive one.
i saw their b777-200lr YI-AQZ in KUL on the 4th.it looks very dull & shabby.( i'll post the pic later)

Nice pics from Baghdad and Najaf in other topic.
Do they still have old Iraqi 747,737,727,IL-76 aircraft some of them without engines parked at Baghdad that were seen in photos/videos of the airport during war.

Re: Baghdad International Airport.
Thanks you all for the nice comments.
I did not see the Iraqi Airways old aircraft at Baghdad Airport . The airport is undergoing expansion and renovation , only one terminal was open , airport has three terminals. Now Iraqi Airways have Rj jets Airbus 320 and 747-400. The Jumbo is ex Virgin airline it is half white and lower half all in Virgin colors. Did not see 777 arriving or departing . 747 was quite busy , in my 9 hour stay at Baghdad airport this plane departed and arrived three times , must be flying short high passengers volume routes.
