Contrails over Peshawar. Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300 as flight QR 896 from Doha, Qatar to Beijing China and Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-300 ER as flight EK 308 from Dubai to Beijing, China making contrails over Peshawar City on March 17th 2013. Both flights were at 37000 feet height. All shots taken with 15x Sony DSC-50H
I'm always fond of seeing contrails over Pakistani airspace, in Faisalabad / Lahore I've seen so many of them including Air India B777, BA767, Gulf Carriers and others but couple of days back I saw 4 planes going together (2 in one direction and 2 in other). It was a beautiful scene, first time in my life I saw four beautiful contrails making a beautiful formation somewhere near Chakwal Interchange (LHR-ISB Motorway).
I took a photo of that while running my car too, I hope it serves the purpose
I've ordered my Nikkor 70-300mm lens, once it arrives I'll go again close to the runway area and take shots of the airplanes climbing out of ISB airport. Something I used to do years back, time to revive my memories again
hi adnan.
actually faisalabad and jhang lies directly beneath the main route forall american and european flights into India and Far East and even to Australian continent. i have been tracking many of them on flight radar 24. ironically, when we all are crying over security, the main two entry of european and american flights are right over terrorists heavens. the first one is Tirah valley of Khyber Agency, the main entry route into Pakistan, which then passes over Thal and Hangu, all troubled areas. the second entry is over Ghulam Khan west of Miran Shah, again a main commercial hub of terrorists. i dont know why the pakistani authorities open airspace over landi kotal and Dir and also over Baluchistan, which will cut the travel time, fuel costs etc
