first of all i need to apologize for poor pic quality as they have been taken by handphone.
the flight to penang was scheduled for 8.35am.
we reached the lowcost carrier terminal at 8.05am.we didnt have any lugguage to check in and we had already done online check-in and printed the boarding passes.
so we immediately proceeded to security check.and we were in the departure hall within 5min.
at that time the departure hallwas already empty as the morning bank had already departed.
and boarding was soon after and there was no id check.
we walked towards the plane which had earlier arrived from penang.
flight was pretty full -i would say above85%. it was a 180 seat a320.seat pitch was acceptable.cabin was clean.

in penang the cargo terminal is opposite the passenger terminal and are seperated by the runway.
air asia does not use the aerobridge facilty adn passengers have to walk up a ramp below the aerobridge 'tower'
while walking there was a fedex trijet landing- only later i realised that i could have captured it with my phone video
