United Airlines has applied a retro livery to an Airbus A320 (registration N475UA) to celebrate its 85th birthday after its employees had voted from five choices for the “Friend Ship†one.

It appears that United very smartly put reflective chrome-like paint on the composit underbelly of the plane. Good job!
