Did few UN charter flights couple of weeks back from Brindisi to Bangui .
NEVER seen anything like that before..100s of thousand of refugees all around the airfield just few yards from taxi ways and runway. People were even crossing the runway as we landed there..so much human suffering that its unbelievable..
Thanks to French forces who were guarding the airport otherwise with thousands of refugees around ,things can get ugly very quickly for all the incoming aircrafts.

these pics show a very little of whats actually happening there on the ground..seeing such a massive degradation of humanity in Bangui is indeed very disturbing.
