First FSX full Flight - OPKC -OEJN

Post by imranzul »

Hi guys, after a looong absence setting up my new rig in FSX, I finally has a chance to do a "test flight" from Karachi to Jeddah. I flew the whole flight but for some weird reason FSACARS stopped logging the flight but remained open. Anyway as usual I posted screens along the way. Hope you all Enjoy. Warning quite a few pics :!:

I dont use all the WOAI packages but instead use Custom AI as I am an AI "nut" I like to have current paints on my ai aircraft.
search for pia_fleet_nc_2010.zip on avsim thats the file name and drag and drop the textures into your ai aircraft folders.
A310, 772, 773 new colours are included in this pack.

The Saudi Ai was in a package I downloaded

Saudi Cargo

Saudi Airlines PAX

Salam Arif

My specs core i7 920 overclocked to 3.5ghz, Nvidia GTS8800 640mb, 6gb ram. Intel DX58SO motherboard, 500gb HDD.

No computer can run FSX to its full potential without spending silly amounts of money - my settings are on med high but not all maxed out its simply not possible, apparently FSX coding was not very good hence no matter what processor you have it will not use all availalbe resources or cores.

I made the "plunge" due to the extra eye candyin FSX - I think FSX is best for VFR and low and slow flying and FS9 should be used for jets.

Anyway if need any more info hints and tips on setting up FSX drop me a line.
