OPST - Sialkot Intl. Airport for FS2004 - Beta Release
Hello everyone,
Since my last projects for FS in 2000, I have not been able to contribute any work for Pak FS. Therefore, with great inspiration from Ali bhai (CEO -flightsimpakistan.com / Co-founder flyPIAva.org aka VASIM.org); I have decided Insha'Allah to continue with my possible contributions.
And this time, Insha'Allah I will be bringing you a 3D scenery for Sialkot International Airport.
For the 1st day of my job on project, I have been able to design the AFCAD file and a 3D control tower. Still it needed to re-design the windows with transparent glass which will be added later as I am a beginner with new tools.
Most of the detail for project is based on GoogleEarth, SIAL website & pictures shared by historyofpia.com / AM & shoaibmalik21; forum members of HOP and I am very thankful to these friends for their contribution.
Therefore, i still require much more information to accomplish the project successfully and main information is required for navaids. Other than navaids, i need much more pictures of the terminal buildings and surrounding blocks to make it as close to real.
Hope I will be having much more help on the above. Thank you.

Thank you Hamad & ahmedshaikhani.
Hamad, it is a begining of project and hopefully Insha'Allah most of the areas of OPST will be covered including terminals, admin blocks, water tank, etc.
Here is a 2nd day update for the control tower, better than the 1st day
....and arrival of BFX at OPST

love that tower, just love it.
just one question?
what software are you using to make the scenery?
if fsds then;
as a beginner, i think you sir should start your work on gmax (www.turbosquid.com/gmax), i think you will do quite good sir, especially because gmax is really good for fs addon developings and will always be available with fs.
and also sir, it is easier for you to modify the buildings and export them. all you need is the gmax and the bglcomp with sdk. and i am pretty sure by now that you know how to place objects.
if you have any questions about the above you should contact me sir.
anyways; for slow learners www.3dsarmad.blogspot.com

Thank you arifm & msarmadk.
ATC is almost complete with bulding next to it as well. Just remaining some radar installation & Pakistan flag on top of ATC. Hopefully will release some screenshots by this evening.
Next, design will be the water tank...

Hamad, a lot of work is remaining and hopefully will try to cover all aspects of the aerodrome.
Therefore, i need much more pics with different angles to design the rest of the buildings....

^ Thank you PK777, sure the terminal and GSE will be there but will take some time to appear on screen, lets hope for daily progress on the project
Anyhow, here is an update for the 6th day on the project. Unfortunately, not much progress for today as i was bit busy with my domestic work.
