Orient Airways Douglas DC-3 (AP-AAF) with 'Orient Skyliner' fuselage titles shivering in snow in January 2019 at Shangrila Resort Hotel in Skardu where the retired aircraft is being used as a cafe.
On October 13, 1954, AP-AAF performing Orient Airways Skardu to Rawalpindi flight made forced landing on Indus River bed. All 3 crew members and 11 passengers survived the accident. The aircraft had taken off from Skardu Airport at 8:30 AM and three minutes later made forced landing in river bed after experiencing engine number one failure.
The aircraft was declared written-off and purchased by Shangrila Resort Hotel for 150 Pakistan rupees from Orient Airways. It took three months to move the aircraft on rollers from crash site to Shangrila Resort Hotel with the help of men, bullocks and horses.

Does anyone have pictures of the cafe itself or what it looks like from the inside of this DC-3?
