Things were like this today here at JFK. We even had alot of crosswind take offs.

One of the scary take offs that i saw today was an Iberia A346. It looked like it was going to do the same thing that the FedEx MD11 prior to crashing did recently.

It took off gained some altitude and started to dance side to side, then it started to come down and then the crew raised the nose again and proceded on a normal take off after gaining control of the crosswinds. According to weather reports winds were exceding 30 M.P.H. but it felt alot worse.

A police officer told me that he thought they were going to abort. I told him that that plane is a runway hogger and if the Iberia crew decided to abort that late into the take off you would not be here talking to me, you would be the first responder to an airplane crash.
