thanks for all your pleasing commments :D
Is there any possibility for getting the 80s (green / gold) painted fleet T-Otter/F27/B737/AB4/B742 in same scale? I would be intrested to buy that collection in that livery!
i dont know really but Aeroclassics could do the Fokker and A300. the 742 is already done.
Samee, have you considered making an airport diorama, check out the 400SH and DAC Airport sections for some ideas?!
I have thought about it and will do it just that i dont have time to make one i would prefer to buy one. also space is another key factor. my A-levels are decreasing the time with my models a bit so will have to wait. But most probabaly in the future i will consider it!

Connie that 707 is made by Netmodels and is in scale 1/500. you can get it quite cheap on ebay here this is CHEAP!!! go for it i would (below link)

again thanks for all comments!! :D

Samee I today received my Blue Box PIA (Peshawar) A310 and its better than I expected. The nose needs improvement and the engines are ok but its passable and you'll be pleased with the 'colors and shades' as being correct.

With the arrival of this model, I'm now planning for the first stage an ISB airport diorama. This will be relatively on a small scale and will include the following 1/400 models which I have:

DW PIA 743 (Lahore)
DW PIA 74M (Thar)
GJ PIA 772ER
B.Box PIA A310 (Peshawar)
B.Bird BA 744
DW SV 772ER
DW EK 773 or A332
HW EY A332
HW QR AB6
DW TG AB6

Good luck with that. Im confident that with your collection, you might even be able to build LHR Heathrow.

Oh yes, LHR is most definately on the cards. That theme will be 'Airlines to LHR'. I have planned the following themes:

The 60's
The early 70's and the advent of the 747's.
The 80's/90's
2K onwards

For LHR, I have just about all the airlines that fly there, albeit not the exact same a/c that they fly into LHR, but definately most of the airlines:

BA 744
VS A346
LH A346
AZ 772
AF A310
KL 772
SAS MD-80
IB A346
UA 772
FN MD-11
AC A333/A345
VRG MD-11
TAM A332
SAA A346
SU 772
SV 772
MS 772
Syrian 74L
RJ A342
LY 772
KU 772
IR 74L
EK 773ER/773/A332
QR A333/A332
EY 773ER/A345/A332
GF A332
ET 737-700
KQ 772
UL A332
PK 743/74M/772
AI 744/772
BG DC-10
TG A346
MS A333
SIA 773
JL 773ER
ANA 74D
KE 773
QF 744
ANZ 744
Air China 744
Icelandair 753
OS 772
TAP A332

I might be missing a few more, but this covers most of the airlines that visit LHR. I'm now just looking for a decent AA 777 model as AA has a very big presence at LHR and so far the AA 777 models I've found are not to my liking.

Just a single BA 744 for LHR! Dont you need more BA fleet to be there in LHR?

Only one BA a/c is enough for me as the theme is 'Airlines to LHR' so several BA a/c would not be required as one a/c represents the presence of BA.

Thats awesome. be sure to put your progress in a blog or website of some kind (with pictures). I still want to see your dinner table covered with a fleet of model aircrafts.

I think my dinner table might even be too small to cover all the 1/400 models I have. There are still several more that I haven't listed as those airlines don't fly into LHR.

I will do an 'Airlines to KHI' as well.

I will definately take pics and that too by a professional photographer.

Good to hear you will finally make an airport for your ever increasing collection, Moin! Im sure you will finally put that GJ airport mat to some use now... as you have said you will surely need alot of room to put them up. Also, from your posts it seems your going for a more proffesional look that just the DIY airport dioramas seen on the DAC and 400SH website?

I have a small area in my room that I might decide to built afew stands for about 4/5 aircraft and some taxiways and a small section for the runway... well see if I can get round to it..

Add the GJ Aer Lingus A332 to the above list. Forgot about that.
