PIA Boeing 707 and Boeing 720B Jets in Old Movies

Post by Abbas Ali »

Scene from movie titled "The Mountain of the Cannibal God" released in year 1978 showing Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Boeing 707-351B (AP-AZW) landing at Colombo Airport, Sri Lanka.

Note the Boeing 707 is sporting unusual all capitalized “PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL" fuselage titles with Green & Gold livery that actually had “Pakistan International” fuselage titles.

PIA Boeing 707 jetliner in Pakistani movie "Khamosh Nigahain" released in 1971.

Scene apparently shot in First Class cabin of the Boeing 707 with wide and comfortable 2x2 seating.

The PIA Air Hostess is wearing uniform that was designed by famous French fashion designer Pierre Cardin.

PIA Boeing 720-040B (AP-ATQ) jetliner at Lahore Airport in 1974 Pakistani movie "Main Bani Dulhan".

PIA Boeing 707 jetliner and Karachi International Airport in 1974 Pakistani movie "Miss Hippy" starring Shabnam.

Maybe Sanober was fainting because she couldn't believe why a jetliner would be making a prop engine sound. I would feel lightheaded too!
